David Bean’s Bio

• Married (Karen, March 1083), 2 grown children (Trista 24 and Bryan 22), First grandchild due in August 2009
• Son of a Methodist Pastor of 47 years
• Passionate about spiritual fatherhood
• Gave my life to Jesus at age 11, but really got serious about my relationship with Jesus in May 1998
• Currently a United States Probation Officer since September 1993
• Currently the President of the Charlottesville District United Methodist Men since 2005
• Currently a Lay Leader of my church at Culpeper UMC
• Starting Wesleyan Building Brothers, which is a program for men to become Spiritual Fathers through the teaching of Dan Schaffer founder of Promise Keepers
• Retired from the US Army in 2003 as a Criminal Investigator (7 years active duty and 14 years National Guard)
• David and Karen both love going on mission trips
